In the world of independent metal production, most of the focus is placed on technical detail, to the point that the bigger picture is often completely ignored.
I’ve made it my mission to help guide metal artists to better sounding productions through coaching and collaboration, without memorizing all of the intricate technical details that often only slow down and intimidate developing artists.
We don’t all want to be audio engineers, and we don't all want to follow production trends. Some of us just want to make some great-sounding heavy music and get some shit off our chests.

Helping DIY metal musicians along their journey is my passion. As someone who has been walking a similar path for over 20 years, it gives me great pride when I help people bypass mistakes and bad habits that held me back in the past.
While most of my collaborators think of me as a technical, detail-oriented person, that's only the surface-level secondary effects of being passionately creative and gaining technical knowledge as a means to capture the ideas in my head. Over the years, I've developed systems to help me create higher quality work in less time more consistently. I've recently begun sharing these tactics with collaborators looking to enhance their work without spending years watching Youtube videos or paying a fortune at a pro studio.
At various points in my past, I've been a guitarist, drummer, bassist, and lead vocalist for different bands, sometimes assuming multiple roles for a single band on various occasions. With this multi-instrumentalist background, I bring an understanding of each instrument and the role each member plays in the group on a psychological level. I've toured the United States a few times in some of these roles, but my home has always been on the creative side, writing and developing metal productions for my bands and colleagues' projects alike.
